Inicialmente los fans esperábamos que todas las luchas del PPV Breaking Point 2009 estuvieran basadas en movimientos de rendición, eso hubiera obligado a muchos luchadores WWE que no tienen llaves, a aprender algunas
Pero luego se supo que sólo algunas luchas del evento tendrían ese concepto, y ahora se agrega otra lucha (Confirmada en las grabaciones de Smackdown), que más bien sería para el PPV Extreme Rules
El cartel de Breaking Point 2009 luce así (Incluyendo el supuesto match Morrison vs Ziggler):
World Heavyweight Championship match: CM Punk vs Undertaker (Submission match)
WWE Championship match: Randy Orton vs. John Cena ( “I Quit” match)
Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (Submissions count anywhere match)
Unified Tag Titles: Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Mark Henry & MVP
Kane vs. Great Khali – Singapore cane match
NO CONFIRMADO: Intercontinental Championship match: John Morrison © vs. Dolph Ziggler
